Post-IB Chemistry Covid Presentations
For our Post-IB project in Chemistry, the students researched some of the potential treatments currently under investigation for Covid 19. They had plenty of freedom to look into whatever aspect they liked ranging from the synthesis of these chemicals to how they work in the body. This is all cutting-edge science, all from recently published scientific research papers.
They did an absolutely fantastic job. They were so well researched and they all sounded so professional and knowledgeable. If you have an hour and a half to spare and want to find out about some of the drugs currently being researched for the treatment of Covid 19, or what kind of things you could be studying at IB level and beyond, have a look at this. There is some quite high-level biochemistry in there, but they have explained it very well.
