Programme & Curriculum
At Nessie English Preschool, we believe in supporting learning and development from an early age and therefore offer fun and exciting learning experiences for preschool-aged children. Our programme follows England’s Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception classes), as well as the Primary National Curriculum of England (Year 1).
All areas of the curriculum are integrated into a carefully planned programme which encourages the way in which young children learn.
Natural curiosity is extended through hands-on exploration and play experiences in a positive and friendly social environment. So that learning is meaningful, we deliver daily plans approached through exciting topics and themes familiar to the young child's world.
We understand that each child is a unique learner. In our small classes, teachers are able to meet a child's individual needs and to encourage confidence and independence, while at the same time supporting their endeavours to become part of a wider group.
