Adaptation process
At Park Lane, we would like to make the transition of starting school as smooth as possible for your child. To ensure that they feel happy and secure in the new school environment, we offer a flexible start to the school year. In the first two or three weeks, we allow children to slowly increase the amount of time they spend in school, to ensure that they are settled and ready for learning in the class.
The adaptation process is different for each child and we are prepared to respect all child’s needs. It is possible to adapt the plan once your child has started to best suit their needs at the time. You can always discuss the form of the adaptation process with the class teacher.
