School day

School is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 until 17:00 but the academic programme runs from 9:00 to 15:30.

For Pre-Nursery, we offer two programmes: a half-day programme that runs from 9:00 to 12:30 and a full-day programme that runs from 9:00 to 15:30.

From 8:00 until 8:50 we offer the morning supervision for your children. At 8:50 there is a morning registration. By that time all children should be at school and be ready for the start of the school day. School day starts at 9:00 with the Circle time (saying hello to each other’s, discussing the daily plan). The day continues with the continuous provision* or outdoor provisions. In meantime, children have their morning snack. From 11:30 the lunch time starts. Our youngest children (Pre-Nursery class) have a lunch from 11:30 because the quiet/sleeping time follows from 12:00 until 14:30. Other classes have their lunches between 12:00 and 13:00. After lunch time, there is usually outside time and then until the 15:00 there is continuous provision* again. At 15:15 children have their afternoon snack and school programme ends at 15:30. After the end of the school day, children can attend afternoon supervision (until 17:00) or any of offered school clubs.

We recommend to respect the daily schedule so that children can benefit from the whole programme we offer to them. If you need pick up your child earlier someday, please inform us in advance.

*Continuous Provision activities consist of learning across all areas of the curriculum (Personal Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language Development, Physical Development, Literacy, Mathematisc, Expressive arts and design and Understanding Word)
