Year 8 and 9 project learners teach Year 3 and 4!

Over the last four weeks the Year 8 and Year 9 project learners have been preparing lessons to deliver to Year 3 and Year 4 at Norbertov. This was a wonderful way of bringing the two campuses together for a creative and enjoyable experience for all the pupils involved.
The student-teachers performed magnificently during their lessons and the support, engagement and enthusiasm from the Year 3 and 4 pupils mirrored the older student's efforts.
The lessons taught by the students included science investigations into solids, liquids and gases, art using straws and watercolours, learning about volcanoes, the Vikings and the Romans as well as mummies and Egypt.
A huge thank you to Miss Ruth, Miss Sophie, Miss Jen and Miss Rachel plus their support staff for looking after us and supporting our student teachers during their teaching.
